Site Content Page

The Site Content page allows you to add, edit and maintain all the content that appears on your front end website. This content is conveniently displayed in the form of a hierarchical "page tree".

From the Site Content page, you can:

• Edit the Home Page.
• Edit the Inner Pages and System Pages that make up your website (system pages are ones that have been added to your website to to handle specific functions such as the Thank You page for your Contact Us form. You can also add your own pages here which will not be linked into the main menu structure).

When editing normal content pages (Home Page, Inner Pages and Information pages) you will be taken to the Page editor, which will allow you to:

• Edit Main Content - edit the main content that is to be displayed on this page
• Edit the Meta Data - HTML Title, meta description and meta keywords tags which tell Google and other search engines how to display the page in their search results (typically the Title tag is used for the text link that searchers will click on to come to your site).
• Edit the Page Settings - controlling the page layout and content blocks to be displayed on the page.
• Edit the Design by adding a page-specific banner or background "wallpaper" image to give a slightly different appearance to that page.
• To Previewing a web pagePreview your page live - please note that all changes you make will be made live immediately. If you do not want visitors to see the page you are working on then make sure the "Visible At Microsite Level?" checkbox is not ticked.
