Navigating Around Your Back Office

UK-Web is a very powerful system, offering a wide range of functions for publishing your website content and for communicating with your website clients.

When you first login to your Back Office, you will be taken to the Back Office home page. On this page you will find a noticeboard with a recently published news item. On the right-hand side of the page, you will see a summary of your account details and subscription status.

This noticeboard is generally used to tell you about a recent change to the system such an enhancement to one of the features. Once you have read this news item, you can click on the tick box which says “Don’t show this next time” so that the next time you log in you will be taken directly to the Desktop page.

The Desktop is intended to be the starting point from where you can quickly navigate to any of the main Back Office pages, showing:

• A list of outstanding eCommerce orders (Standard Edition or above).
• News features that may be of interest to you.
• Quick Navigation icons, which when you click on them will take you directly to an area of your Back Office to perform a required function.

My Account area provides a summary of your website subscription status together with links to the detailed information including payment history.
